Luryane Zancanela has joined our international sales team in Hamburg in December 2022. Luryane’s responsibility will be handling container sales and rental requests for our international customers.
Luryane Zancanela is no stranger to the container world even prior to starting her career in our ranks. After graduating in Business Administration in 2018 and having worked in the logistics and freight forwarding field since 2015, she already has a clear understanding of how the global logistics industry works. Her insights will be a valuable addition to MC Containers because we offer not only containers but also a broad range of one-stop logistics services for our customers, including freight forwarders.
Luryane found our open position while browsing through LinkedIn where she came across our Regional Director Matti Gossler’s profile. After finding out more about MC Containers, she was convinced that working alongside our growing Hamburg team would be the perfect next step in her career. ”I am excited to learn as much as I can with my new colleagues. The team here in Hamburg gave me such a warm welcome since the beginning and I’m very excited to embrace this new challenge,” Luryane says.
Luryane brings some sunny South American energy to the team as she comes originally from Brazil. She has lived in Germany since 2019 when she moved there to learn the language and work. Luryane has always had the desire to live abroad: ”I can assure moving abroad was a great decision once I could (and can) learn so much, meet many different people, cultures and learn even more about myself.” Although living in Europe has been a dream come true, Luryane reveals that it is not always easy. ”I lived my whole life 15 minutes from the beach so being in Germany during the winter is still a challenge for me,” Luryane laughs.
In addition to traveling, Luryane’s favorite pastime is meeting up with friends and family as well as doing sports like playing volleyball in the summertime. Much like our SALES AND OPERATIONS ASSISTANT MARIA, Luryane is also a big food-lover: “Let’s not forget I love to eat. Sushi and meat are my favourites.”
