We are expanding our depot in the Baltic Sea area, which will allow for a better container selection and more versatile container modifications.
The MC Containers Helsinki depot has only been in use for a bit over a year, but the current location is already growing small for our developing operations in the area.
In order to expand our premises and allow for additional services, we have acquired the adjacent plot to the existing depot.
During the next few years, we are planning to build a new ca 470 square meter business premise in addition to the current building. Due to having more space, we are able to offer more versatile long and short-term storage opportunities for our customers, and to increase the number and complexity of container modifications that are done by our staff in the depot. With the expansion, we will also improve the work environment in the depot and further develop our operations.
The Helsinki container depot is located conveniently only ca 40 minutes away from the Port of Helsinki close to all the relevant means of transportation including airfreight, sea, road and railroad. The central location of the depot close to the Baltic Sea allows for a versatile selection of containers and cheaper transportation costs in the area.
